How is a pet urn made?

A painter works from your photograph and hand-paints your pet onto a ceramic urn, with their name.

Can I have a plain engraved urn instead?

Yes. There are engraved ceramic urns as well, with the portrait and the name cut into the surface, and simpler urn shapes such as a sleeping cat or a sleeping dog.

What do the urns cost?

They range from $29 for a hand-painted urn up to $189 for the porcelain Goodnight urn with an engraved wooden base.

Can you engrave a name as well as a photo?

Yes. The name can be engraved together with the photograph.

About your photo

One clear photo is enough. We review every photo before work begins and will write to you if another image would give a better result.

If you are ordering after a loss

You do not need to explain anything when you order — just the photo and the name. If there is something you would like us to know, there is a note field, and a person reads it.

How long it takes

About 1–2 weeks to paint, plus shipping.
